There seems to be some time-sink, Doppler effect type thing going on here. I’m not sure what it is but it seems while our days seem to be moving ahead at the same speed they always do – for those further away from the void it’s moving much slower.
I say this because I was doing a training run and popped out of the well near an Ani fleet on patrol – only – they weren’t moving. The signs of life and everything registered but they were just standing still.
For a while, things seemed to be frozen and then they slowly started moving. I recorded what I could and then leaped sideways and took a rather roundabout route back to our little pocket of the world.
Fipps got all excited and he said that it was time dilation of a sort, but it wasn’t working the way he thought it would. According to him, if we were experiencing any time dilation it would be us slowing down not speeding up.
I guess its’ one way to buy time.
