Baljatuun has been free-floating for some time now, but that gives us eyes and ears outside our bubble of a world. As near as I can tell for the rest of the pact – we haven’t been gone long enough to have gotten into too much trouble, and then we showed up said “Let’s just avoid each other,” and then came back 15 minutes later to see if they’re keeping their part of the bargain.
If we can stay in our time bubble, we might— just might find the time we need to give ourselves a fighting chance.
Baljatuun’s warning was simple – The void is not to be trusted, the enemy has eyes everywhere and we should stick to ourselves and hold out for as long as we can.
Unfortunately, that really isn’t in our nature.
