Well, there were some very, very unexpected results of opening up the well when and where I did. I was halfway through the transit pathway for the second time – proving that the paths are semi-standardized I timed it so that I was in the middle of the void, and then I opened up a well and stepped sideways into…
Nothing.
The well was so different from what it’s been in the past – before it was like a hall of mirrors where you could see glimpses of what would be, this time they were all pouring out of the frames and merging- twisting.
The cameras recorded nothing exciting – just a normal passage into the well and coming back to normal space. And everything was normal for about 20 seconds before the alarms went off and the ship started venting 02 into space.
All I really remember after that point was the Klaxon, fire suppression, and a very, very bright light.
