So, today I was assigned to a work detail. Being ‘the new guy’ seems to be a universal concept. As is ‘new guy’ gets the bs details no one else wants. I get to mix cleaning fluids, clean buckets and mops, and refill the cleaning bots.
It’s amazing they trust me with a screwdriver, but if they didn’t someone else would have to do the job, and that would completely defeat the purpose of being… the new guy.
Didn’t I just leave this party?
