Another sign that time moves differently here, we saw warning signs of the Lasatiea coming closer. Their version of the well has been showing up near us and it’s only a matter of time before they find us.
Then, I felt a pressure in my head. One look at the void told me what I needed to know, the enemy was closing in. I felt the all too familiar pressure in my mind and glowered at the void walker when he tried to warn me. He backed off and there was something in his expression/mental touch that indicated surprise.
I recognized the threat.
We moved on, but we know the Lasatiea will be right behind us, waiting for us to make a mistake.
