342-Valkyrie’s View: A Year Among the Stars

With the Lasatiea and the Void Walkers looking for us— I’m pretty sure they know we’re no longer playing their game, and that we’ve figured out that the only chance we have is banding together. We are no longer just Human, Parataph, Ani, Askmiri, or Fate – we are the Consociation for the lack of a better term.
We are one fleet, one alliance based on cooperation but we don’t trust each other – we just trust the Lasatiea and the Void Walkers less.
Our cooperation is simple – we need each other to survive and by working together we can push the limits of each other’s engineering and hopefully improve our chances.
The Parataph mechanics were amazed at how much or their technology we were able to not only analyze, but replicate, modify, and build on their concepts to create something completely new.
It doesn’t mean we totally trust them or they completely trust us – as far as anyone is concerned our races and our union began here and that is all we deal with. Our history and where we come from is for us to know and protect.
For all intents and purposes, we began where we met and we came from where we are now. On the bright side, with no past to go by, we have a better chance going forward.
