281-Valkyrie’s View: A Year Among the Stars

One of the decisions the brass had to make was not one I envied: do you put all your eggs in one basket where you can protect them or keep them apart which means randomly moving about and trying to communicate with one another?
What is the answer when you have allies who exist in unison with all their past and future selves and enemies who exist everywhere and nowhere at the same time?
Like I said, we have no point of reference for any of this. I can’t say that their decision is the right one— only that its the one that makes the most sense with what we know.
We have three baskets – three pockets along the void, three points that are close but cannot be reached one from the other. We split our findings up and each team has their people working on what they’ve found— researching and hoping to find and understand the technology that might help us survive.
I’m staying with the Valkyrie’s View and my reverse engineering of the Ani fighter will have to wait— for an older me to take a look at it.
I can’t be sure— but I think I’m enjoying that.
