346-Valkyrie’s View: A Year Among the Stars

I’ve been spending a lot of time thinking about how to communicate so that our enemies can’t intercept messages. No matter how difficult we try to make things – every technological method we have is subject to intercept. It’s the nature of the beast and is to be expected. What we really need is the unexpected.

And that is where my friends come in. Let’s face it, Lil’bit, Aziz and Baljatuun have always been able to find me, or I’ve been able to find them… we keep crossing paths.

All the members of the Consociation have their ways of getting their messages across, some of them are more pleasant than others, but we’re still feeling our way through this.

I know that Lil’bit, Aziz, and Jatuun communicate between their different selves through time, and unless I’m mistaken, that includes all three of them. I think Dancer has spent enough time with Aziz that she could probably find Jatuun if she focused.

If we use Baljatuun as a reference point – we might be able to use him as a relay station— the problem with using him as a reference point is the fact that he exists in time as well as space and then you have to figure out which messages are current and/or relevant.

It’s something to think about— but we have so many other issues it’s not funny.

I think our best bet might be focusing on Lil’bit since he comes and goes as he pleases and isn’t nearly as noticeable as his later incarnations.

The question is, can we find an incentive for him to track down people other than me?
